CHECKLIST OF REQUIREMENTS
- Copy of Certificate of Eligibility (COE) of the worker issued by the Japan Immigration Office, Ministry of Justice
- Original Employment Contract, with original signatures of both Employer and the Worker (all pages) complying with Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) minimum standard provisions. Scanned/Electronic signatures are not accepted
- Copy of the Letter of Guarantee submitted to the Japan Immigration Bureau, Ministry of Justice
- Copy of the Letter of Justification submitted to the Japan Immigration Bureau, Ministry of Justice
- Clear copy of the Worker’s passport
- Clear copy of the Employer’s passport
- Original Certificate of Official Designation issued by the proper Embassy Official
- Clear copy of the Employer’s Gaimusho ID
- Authorization letter for Embassy staff authorized by the Diplomat to process application/verification at MWO Tokyo. Diplomats are not required to submit/process at the office personally. Diplomats may authorize other Embassy staff to process on their behalf. MWO Tokyo does not recognize third-party entities (brokers, immigration lawyers, other representatives, etc.)
